Everything boiled down to using the illustrations for modeling guidance. Gordon's TVS model took two tries to really get the shape right & the coming replica represents that first attempt.

Did a spectrogram on one of the Thomas themes in Audacity, it almost looks like a MIDI sequencer's pattern.

"Once an engine attached to a train, was afraid of a few drops of rain. It went into a tunnel, and squeaked through its funnel, and never came out again."

Working on the face. A very thin paper strip helps to reinforce the nose.
