I love that Yusei Fudo’s outfit is a clear reference to Yugi Muto from Duel Monsters.

And the color design of his D-Wheel is a reference to Judai Yuki from GX

At one point, 5D’s was considered the finale to the YGO franchise so I like the homage to the two previous protags.

Kazuki Takahashi gave me my favorite series and my favorite card game.

He shared his love of games with the world and gave us a new one to enjoy that will be here forever.

He will always my inspiration.
