@CommandoDev_ hell, let's not forget that this is literally the cover for Sonic R; a CLASSIC Sonic game. It's never been indicative of the characters' ages

@CommandoDev_ Also, they made his chest pop out to give him more confidence. This is something you can even see in early Uekawa SA1 art AND in Okano's earlier SA1 designs

@CommandoDev_ The longer limbs were done in conjunction to fit with the art style of the boxart, which was done by Satoshi Okano, whom just made everyone's limbs longer.

@CommandoDev_ This just isn't true man it's always been an artstyle change. The only thing that made people think classic was a "younger" sonic was gens onwards. Note the ages here and the different art styles
