@TheJediSonic @Benjami97342069 @HugeNate_ Because he's a unique take on the proportions of a baby fox, esp for the time the game was made. The extra tails just makes it stronger.
When you compare an image of an actual fox to him, you can get the idea of what they were going for. The same can't really be said for trip
@ImSora123 Idk if this helps at all but I draw his body like a weird S shape, and then I draw a curved line under his head for his belly
Did I beat the "Sonic fans can't draw Vector" allegations? https://t.co/pS7qmQ9rBx
Over halfway done with making all of the portraits for @neotookay's Sonic fighting game 😎
I understand that we can't expect artists to stay with the same exact style forever, but there's a difference between a natural maturation of someone's art, and just a straight up loss of fundamentals. Examples: Toriyama and Uekawa
His entire coloring style changed, the sense of perspective and form in his art disappeared, hell, somehow his anatomy got worse too
Not a day goes by where I don't think about how much Bengus's style shifted so hard.
It was probably the transition from traditional to digital being difficult, along with the demand for specific styles being different for both eras (moe-esque for SFV) but like, dude...
@sonicreXistence Hi, I'd like to apply for artist and/or animatics
I haven't done the X style yet, but I can replicate existing styles pretty well and I know how to go about doing studies for them :)
