i'm still super grateful for the contest, the fact that i won and the fact that valve was obviously inspired by my ideas. all of this led to concept art becoming more than just a hobby. In April next year I have been working in the video game industry for 6 years. 🙏❤️ (10/10)

The background, details and personality are completely different to the final character "Nick" from Valve, he's also easier to read in the white - but still: the suit does something. especially on this in-game poster. ⛪️ 😉 (5/10)

in 2008 @moddb started a concept art contest in collaboration with @valvesoftware. at that time I had almost turned my back on figurative drawing and spent more time on making music. this contest brought me back. Left 4 Dead 2 wasn't announced until months later... (2/10)
