Little doodle last night to unwind, really wanted to draw tentacles and crabs!

Last nights doodle session resulted in this little forest dragon ❤️ really happy with how it turned out and I’m in love with the palette (which was my starting point) I didn’t have a plan when I went in and just had fun with the colours and composition!

Did you know that house sparrows are another bird mentioned negatively in the bible for helping prolong the torture of Jesus (and for alerting people to his hiding place when all the other birds did the opposite)

Redrew my death card for the reprint of Occult Ornithology. I initially was going to replace the house sparrows with something more ‘deathy’ but I felt nothing fit the nature of the card quite as well in my opinion.

I’m really enjoying working on my corvidae book and I’m thinking about the finished work, should I stick to my pocket sized a6 format to match the other ones I’ve done -or- do a nice medium sized book instead?
