During our recent Margate trip (for the Turner Prize exhibition preview😎), we stumbled across @shellgrotto...70ft of underground passages decorated by 4mil shells, it’s origin a mystery.

This year’s Youth Open has been well received by visitors, with many saying that it’s the best yet😊

We had over double the amount of entries than 2018. Locally, we are incredibly fortunate to have such talented youngsters❤️

This year, the #alfredeastartgallery's Open exhibition will be from 21st Sept to 3rd Nov. Later in the year, away from school exams, to encourage more entries to the Youth Open

Regular visitor and talented local artist, Daniel Kelly, has spent a couple of days in the #alfredeastartgallery creating his own version of Thomas Cooper Gotch's "The Exile"

The original is currently on display as part of the Prints Charming exhibition
