HERES the 2021 pitch, warhammer40k slice of life anime, only guardsmen and the halequins, no space marines, ok there are space marine- heads, on pikes! DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PRESIDENT OF GAMES WORKSHOP?!
also! probably havent posted this here, finished this commission of a SOB and a commissar doin the soft face touches ❤️🖤
last year was the year of the gnome, now is the year of the even *angrier* gnome
got commissioned to draw these boring Ultramarines pestering some poor imperial guardsmen 🙄😴 typical blue boys, probably pestering them about their silly codex or whatever💙💛
initially drew these two for a one-off comic last february, didnt pay much attention to them, didnt even bother givin them names i think? but people liked them so much that i drew more comics. anyway heres himbo dark angel and impossibly compact guardswoman❤️💚 part 1/2
hello... new followers, welcome to the..
the gnome zone
i think art-wise, it was less experimenting as last year, and more of refining my art style, like i just put my hands to the grinder and improved upon my base style. im probably not as happy about it, but glad ive reached a point where i /know/ more about what im doing
THIS KICKS ASS MAN, IM SO MAD I NEVER GOT TO DRAW LIKE THIS, IM SO ANGERY
this art style is BITCHIN, howd i not end up drawing like this?? i remember tryin desperately to emulate it as a kid but lacked the finesse for it, but its nice that it still managed to influence my art one way or another
very interesting how my biggest inspiration growing up was Sugar Sugar Rune, an anime that had no real impact on my art style-wise, but its core visual rules of 'evening out space and keeping the weight of the piece balanced' runs through the very fiber of art mentality
