"Bantay" and "Puti" are also common dog names in the phl. Both the comics and the show modify the "Sigbin" to be more werewolf like when in folklore, they're more like a Chupacabra. They look either like "a hornless goat" or "a dog" depending on the region.
The episode makes the men at the strip club bodyguards of this privileged dude while in Case 8, they themselves were the patrons of the establishment. Either way, given what they did, they're still disgusting men lol.
While Case 2 was kept mostly intact Case 3 was altered slightly to tie in better with Case 2.
In Case 1, the culprit behind the murder of the White Lady is a woman who simply hated her for causing the death of her lover. Trese still obtains this information from Ibu... and yes, he loses an eye in both versions.
