I ended up going back and redrawing X to fit in the MMZ/MMZX style. It's a lot less blocky and it'll look way better once it's been posed for keyframing

I'm trying to be really nice towards the Kamen Rider Zero-One comic, but if I drew any Asian character like this I'd be cancelled in an hour.

RIP Kazuki Takahashi. I wouldn't even be exaggerating to say that Yugioh (both the manga & the game) was a keystone for me growing up. It helped me learn to make friends, become less shy, cultivate my artistic passions, and opened my eyes to what manga / comics could really be.
