Nehalennia is deeply in love with Izumo and has been pursuing him for years. Izumo tends to run away from her and avoids her advances. Despite that, he respects her legacy and is grateful for the time he trains with Nehalennia though she takes the training as "dates".

Byakko is Izumo's partner. He summoned her accidentally while trying to form a contact with a stronger beast to assist him in this revenge, disappointed to form one with her instead. The two constantly bicker and insult each other but have stayed together for almost a decade.

Akasha is an existence within Izumo's soul, being born from this Granddamm at a very young age. Izumo rejects her and refuses to acknowledge her existence while Akasha preys on his mental weaknesses to both turn him into a vessel for pure destruction and to gain her freedom.

Once childhood friends, Izumo and Minazuki became rivals after a falling out that led to the death of their close friend Valadthor. Minazuki fully embraced her role as High Leader while Izumo became a Desperado criminal. The two have been at each other's throats for ten years.

Covering Reikou's right arm is the Release Restraint Band which was given to her by Jinouin Hakubane to handle the strain of using the Shin Kurozakura. The name is a reference to the Yu-Gi-Oh! cards Release Restraint and Release Restraint Wave.
