@Ataraxia_osu @ttguweiz has been a long time inspiration of mine. Especially his/her snowy pieces.
"Wouldn't a snow leopard make more sense?"
I may be on a Viking hitch for the next month or two 👀

"Every region on earth holds it's own species. Even still I'm always amazed by the colors I seeing flying by"
Personal work of mine
@art_of_AD @pisqcurio one of the ways i check my composition and lighting is to use the threshold filter in photoshop to simplify my piece into shapes. a piece with strong shapes will read at the simplest level.
i used a common composition method that uses triangles for one of my most recent pieces
@art_of_AD @pisqcurio in this piece, i used the shadowed part of the mountain in the background to frame the character to make it the first thing that's seen in the illustration. the strong contrast made it the primary focal point.
@art_of_AD @pisqcurio i usually build something like this over a sketch to find shapes
wanted to take a small break from big stuff and make a little wallpaper for myself in a sort of pop-art inspired style
