A bit of process behind an oracle card I did for 78Tarot last year. I started with a digital sketch, then I offered a digital sketch over the top of the watercolor painting to explore background options.

I don't know if I ever shared this? When I was hooking up my Huion for the first time I was testing it out a bit and made a swampy sketch

Here's one. I might actually revisit this because I don't feel like I hit all the notes I wanted to. I'm still so entranced by these colors!
I'd really like to try again if just for the sake of that vivid blue and the purple in the water
