There's nothing wrong with the conjoined eyes, in fact when I draw Sonic with a cocky or mad expression, he starts to look more like Legacy Sonic. I just thought it would make sense more so for his eyes to do that when he tenses his eyebrows.

Idk if you guys noticed, but I draw Sonic with separated eyes. I used to draw it the normal way, but I just learned that I didn't like it overtime. Even though I love to be expressive and crazy with my drawings, I like things to be proportional and a bit realistic.

Personally, I like it more when your able to see Sonic actually spin if he's going slow and not at all when he's going fast.
But personally I love it when you can see Sonic turn into a buzzsaw of death
