Right okay so I mapped out the face and found out that things were uneven. Thankfully my friends pointed it out before I could do a finished version of it so i'm gonna be trying to work on it

RIGHT so I just discovered that detailed hands weren't my thing but sometimes I reach this point and say "Fuck it" and just work

Look at that!!! I'm so happy with how this came out! the shading came out as I had hoped it did. Honestly it was quite a risk and I wasn't comfortable with doing this type of shading because I wasn't used to it but I just had to take the risk and it looked great!

Doing the base colors of the drawing. By doing a sort of "Vector" type of drawing so that I could just set the flat colors to "Preserve Opacity" and I could just freely add details on them. I removed the lines and started cleaning up the open areas, gonna work on her hat soon

It's coming along rather well!

I figured I had to do the base colors anyway and I tried to harmonize her color pattern more while I tried to add a little bit of pink and red to sort of "Contrast" the rest of the colors, y'know to make some areas pop and not blend too much ithi-

I added some details on the hair but this was another experiment I came across with. I also don't do semi-realism so I had to practice how to make the nose properly along the way. Here's to hope it looks decent enough

I started coloring the face. This was another experiment because I usually don't do a "painterly" style of coloring and I was used to applying the base first then the rest but seeing how well this went I decided to shift my style onto it!

Now this is a new thing i'm trying. I personally don't do this kind of process but I figured it was useful creating a sort of "3d" model to try and see where the light moves around her. So far I haven't deleted the drawing yet so it's going well
