I really wish more people liked my skull art, because then it’d be skulls 24/7.

Out of curiosity, would anyone be interested in buying inexpensive, tiny paintings in acrylic/watercolor and ink to help me fund my trip to the UK in a few months? Examples are as follows, and we’re talking $10-$25.

Tom Thumb is a thumb-sized hero whose story dates to the 1500's. Originally, his tales were horror stories intended to scare children into behaving. By the 17th century, tales of him portrayed him as a hero, rather than a villain.

Nixies are German water sprites who inhabit springs & rivers. Male nixies rarely show themselves to humans. If a female nixy falls in love with a human, she lures them into the water, never to be seen again. Humans caught watching nixies bathe are driven mad.

It was once considered unlucky for bees to swarm on a dead tree in parts of England. If they did so, it was regarded as an omen that if they swarmed high in the tree, grain prices would rise, swarmed low, and the prices would fall.

Spriggans are small, ugly, malicious fairies in Cornwall. They guard treasure, steal babies and leave changelings behind, ruin crops, and attack those who spy on them. Said to be the ghosts of giants, they can swell to enormous size.
