Little T and I have been collaborating a lot lately. She sees me working on my iPad each day and often asks to do “drawing work” with me. She had me draw the black lines but everything else is hers, from the design to all the colour choices. Isn’t it joyous?

Meet lovely library assistant Cranky Ms Z! Known for her native flower garden, love of a certain famous caterpillar (and chicken), kid lit t-shirts and her big smile. It’s not easy to crankify such a joyous soul but I did my best!

Happy (day late) international dog day! My beloved Frank turns up in many of my drawings but has yet to appear in one of my books. I have written a PB inspired by him and have a newish graphic novel idea where he’s one of the leads - I hope I get to make both sometime soon 🐶💜
