Junichi Hayama's first AD appearance on DM. Not the most detailed supervisor on the series but there's a certain charm about he's art. Simple shading, basic shapes for clothing creases and little to no skin or hair highlights.

Just noticed this cameo of a younger Atsushi Maekawa in GX #17. He was one of the regular ep writers for DM, GX, Arc-V and Vrains.

Starting to wonder if there's a Yoshida cameo somewhere. 🤔

Cartoony gag faces where always a thing.

By Gx he's completely abandoned the bottom curved nose instead taking a page from Kagami with small and pointer, with shading on the top and moving the cheek highlights to the edge of the face. Front on shots is where u see the most change. Though he kept the big ears

Kenichi Hara's first AD and solo KA ep. At this point he's still transitioning into the style seen later on in the show and GX. His art isn't as angular as he's modern art is but the thick lines and rounded faces still remain.

Both from Yameta company the same studio Kagami came from. Yameta company's episode were insanely good on DM. Their episodes didn't always move much but the art and direction more than made up for it.
