I think I’ve pretty much given up on Owl House. Seeing stuff from it fills me with contempt. People I care about are fans of it even though I firmly believe it is/has been queerbaiting. 8 episodes post a fucking prom night for ANYTHING? That’s lousy writing.
Sure they kissed in the last episode but they could have got to that point sooner. It’s just lousy writing to take them 8 episodes post a prom night to actually get somewhere and it’s stupid and pandering.
The LGBT community doesn’t have much in regard to respectful kids cartoons and it took Luna and Sam 1/4 th as long and they're written much better. It developed more in the comic books but from the show it didn’t drag on and on with the same results becoming cliche.
So many people are geeking out over Amity and Luz’s relationship. There have been 8 episodes since their prom, even more hinting love. The only thing that happens are awkward moments and blushing.
Quote from the episode: "I can't concentrate! My girlfriend Sam and I got in a tiff over a riff, and now she's miffed! I don't know what to do." It was not addressed after this point if they broke up OR got past it is still an unaddressed plothole hole to this day so who knows?
