@shiyoonk Agreed! I’ve been wrenching myself out of same-face syndrome over a period of years, and one of my first steps toward that was differentiating the features of POC characters. It’s not hard once you become accustomed to constructing faces with different shapes.

I looooooove the hands and feet. They’ve gone from a source of dread to something genuinely fun to draw.

Most of the time. Hands are fickle.

Oh, and the white cat girl is the character who, after nearly two decades of metamorphosis, became Lyrique Fey. This gal, protagonist of Dragonfeathers.

This is one of the earliest I could find. 😂 I had no idea what digital art was, learned everything I knew from that How To Draw Manga book everyone had, and used coloured pencils exclusively because they were all my parents could afford.

I was also having great fun. 💛

I was practicing figure drawing with one of the massive figure packs from @noahbradley yesterday. I sometimes compare figure practice to art vegetables. Well, uuuuuuh...

I seem to be developing a taste for vegetables.
