Oh hey I guess it’s #PortfolioDay again! I’m Kaysha, an oil painter working on my ongoing ‘Mnemosyne’ Greek Mythology project (and abusing Payne’s grey, evidently).

🌿My new oil painting “Eukleia” is live on @everydayorig !🌿 https://t.co/lBMBCDipV4
✨Eukleia, Greek goddess or spirit (daimona) of good repute and glory. Called “garland-loving” in the ancient text Bacchylides, she was especially revered by hopeful brides and bridegrooms.✨
Went to a workshop in egg tempera this past weekend, taught by artists @CandiceBohannon and Julio Reyes, hosted by @AliaPaints. It was amazing! A true delight to stretch my realism muscles and (re)learn such a beautiful medium.

Did I miss #PortfolioDay? I’m Kaysha and I paint #Greekmythology and other fantastical things in oil. Open to commissions.

I’m a billion years late for #VisibleWomen but I DON’T CARE because I finished the painting version of “Wavewatcher” just in time for #dragoncon2019 and I’m exhausted but proud! Come see her in the Art Show in the Hyatt at Booth 21!
Late because I was traveling and missed it yesterday! Here are some new pieces since last #portfolioday. The paintings are oil and are part of my ongoing Greek mythology series, and the mermaid is graphite. Open to commissions and client work in these same veins!
Joining in on #PortfolioDay - I’m Kaysha and I’m (mostly) an oil painter! Right now I’m painting a lot of Greek Mythology, as I’m working hard on my ‘Mnemosyne’ project.

Seeing all this fantasy art at IlluxCon reminds me I haven’t shared this little sketch. Probably won’t ever ‘finish’ it, but I’ve been listening to these audiobooks while I work on my main paintings, and it was a fun thing to learn the iPad Pro with. :) #Kaladin #brandonsanderson
Here’s the reason I’ve been so quiet lately! Finally finished up these oil paintings for Encounters with the Imaginary Vol. 3, now funding on Kickstarter! https://t.co/Sb1Doi634I They illustrate the Greek myth of Kyparissos and his stag, from Ovid’s Metamorphoses.
I’m Kaysha, oil painter and occasionally-printmaker. Right now I’m working on a project I’m calling Mnemosyne, in which I nerd out way too hard about Greek myths and then make paintings about them.
