I am both extremely excited and feeling very overwhelmed. Lol

First 3 #anime of the year watched:

DNA² - First half wasn't bad, second half jumped the shark. OVA brought it somewhat back together.

Riding Bean - Fun hour long OVA about a getaway driver.

Macross II: Lovers Again - A divisive sequel. Explores interesting themes. I liked it.

Possibly blasphemous, but Macross II: Lovers Again is pretty good overall. I appreciate what it attempts to explore and I enjoy most of the characters. If anything the sometimes bad editing and atrocious English dubbing are what kill it. But as a story I liked it.

Finally finished the first anime of 2022: DNA² (1994)

Interesting series. Focusing on a mam who's destined to become a Mega-Playboy & the woman trying to stop it. Really truly loses its thread at the end but the sequel OVA put together a better ending

The episode in season 3 where they travel to Markovia to save Lynn is the episode of the series so far. That was so good! And seeing Wayne Brady in the show made me very, very happy. 👏🏻

Firelord - Explore him as a cosmic criminal before becoming a herald.

Air-Walker - Make him boyfriend to Firelord and they're a criminal duo together.

Elsa Bloodstone - We're getting monsters, give us the monster hunter.
