They Live (1988)
($13m in North America on a budget of $3m)
Based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning"
The 5 and a half minute fight scene tooks 3 week to rehearse.
I love how Superman moves his arms when he flies like he's driving a standard transmission. He starts with both hands down in neutral. Lifts up 1 hand to go into 1st. Lifts his other arm for 2nd. And then pumps both of them to shift into overdrive.
When are we going to get a live action Foghorn Leghorn with John Goodman? "I said boy"
Enter the Dragon (1973)
Bruce Lee's last completed movie. It debuted a month after his death.
The film grossed and est..$350m worldwide (over a billion in today's dollars) on a budget of $850K. Making 400x its budget, it's one of the most profitable films of all time.
@chrisoconnoriv @AdventurersCap I thought of Frightners too. Also, Fright Night.
@GameHistoryOrg I loved the series up to IV. Then the smaller, angled graphics lost me.
Romancing the Stone (1984)
$115M on budget of $10M
The Jewel of the Nile (1985)
$97M on budget of $25M
Wiki: The sequel happened bc Turner and Douglas were under contract & he was a producer. She didn't like the script & wanted out but was threatened with breach of contract.
I'm not sure I can play Syberia 3. The interface and navigation sucks. The graphics are 1,000% better but what good is it you can't easily navigate.
1 vs 3
Santa Jaws (2018)
I think I'll pass on this one.
"It’s a fun movie and one that delivers exactly what it promises and a whole lot more. It’s a film that gives you a shark with a Santa hat on its fin but it also delivers clever dialogue and committed performances."
