This is in relation to my current comm, what sort of skin material to Pikmin have? Looking at this official render it looks kinda like the skin of some sort of fruit.

These two are supposed to be distant relatives belonging to two diverging suborders that mirror cats and dogs, but I'm still not sure if I gave them enough anatomical distinctions.
