Samuel Taylor Coleridge was born #OnThisDay in 1772. Coleridge persuaded his brother-in-law and fellow poet Robert Southey to move to Keswick in 1803. After meeting Coleridge in 1794, Southey described him as being 'of the strongest genius the clearest judgment & the best heart'.
