Too hot to do any imaging today, so staying indoors.
But here's a collage of some recent solar images, to help me feel cool.
It's all relative 🙂

Following my #BarnOwl image posts this morning, I've been inspired to dig out and share a few of my owl paintings and drawings, from more than a few years ago.
I really must dig out my brushes and start painting again!

Finally got round to processing this image of Messier 106, taken a few nights ago.
Processed in APP with a few tweaks in PS CC.
I'm not 100% happy with it, so may have another go once I've finished wading through some solar images.

My second attempt at imaging #M42. Reasonably pleased with this one, but definite room for improvement. Details in the image. Processed in Deep Sky Stacker and PS CC, with lots of help from @astrobackyard great tutorials!

#Triangulum galaxy #M33, taken with my #Esprit100 and Nikon D300.
Part of our local group, it lies at a distance of around 2.7 million light.
Total exposure was 2hrs 20mins at ISO800.

My first proper go at #Andromeda #M31 taken through my #Esprit100 and Nikon DSLR.
This is a stack of 24 x 2 minute subs. @ ISO800.
Lots of room for improvement as I still don't really know what I'm doing in Photoshop!
