Phew, almost done with my website redesign. In the process I found these drawings of the book version of Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. I think they're from 2018 - I still really like them!
Alongside the tarot show I'm in tomorrow (11/21), @gallerynucleus is hosting Flora & Fauna IV with five incredible artists!! These two ephemeral beauties are from @swordandsnore (whose work I'm obsessed with)
I don't think it's an overstatement to say that reading Aatmaja's comic Travelogue is what first inspired me to make comics. There's a poetic, thoughtful air that I'd never seen in an adventure story, and it made a huge impression on me. (plus Nana is such a joy!!<3)
Aatmaja Pandya (@aatmajapandya) is one of my favorite comic creators of all time!! Her stories simmer with a quiet, sometimes bittersweet tension, and I love the way she draws her characters!

This October she's done another round of GORGEOUS Drawtober pieces (and a bunch of them are available as mini prints and vinyl stickers in her shop: https://t.co/yUfAoKT8Wt)
They're working on Tuca & Bertie season 2, which has me SO excited because it's such a perfect match and I can't wait to see more of the show and Nicole's work on it!! (and am hoping for at least one Hulk and/or Data cameo!)
Nicole Ham (@thenicoleham) is one of my favorite character artists - they always capture the most interesting version of each caricature in a way that reminds me of the cartoons I grew up with and I love it!!

I think that if you like my work, you should absolutely follow @loonpflug - there's so much to love!!
Also, he's an extremely good letterer and I love seeing him go all out on these explorations because they're beautiful! More please!!
