Just to clarify with this one, I love Berserk. There hasn't been another series yet to match it's dark and brutal tone. Albeit a lot less horrific than the manga, the 1997 anime will leave you with a little more than anime blue-balls when it ends on a harsh cliffhanger.

You certainly won't feel any #MondayMotivation after watching these series' seeing as their endings leave you wanting more or just outright disappointed.
