Full disclosure: Open relationships aren't really for everyone, but it has worked for us and we have no desire to end that. So marriage means something a little bit different to us. Sorry if that offends, but also not sorry because it's our life.

Marriage for us is a symbolic ceremony where we can show that we're both willing to stick w/ each other long term. It does help w/ insurance and more too.

Until now, we were never sure we'd get married but I can't picture my life w/o him and he can't picture life w/o me either.
