18. I believe I am improving at a steady pace; if not in the quality then in the efficiency, quantity, and the variety of things I can do. What took me a month now takes me an hour and that means more time for me to do, add, and improve.
@EpsilonMega It was hard coming up with a redesign, but I ended up giving him a jetpack and a cool alien arm based on what appeared to be a dire infection in his left arm in one of the reference images.
@Quite_Dizzy Small Update: Something was buggin' me about the cheek lines under his eyes so I went back over that part.

Welp, enough people told me the back muscles looked like abs! So I did a bit more work and there ya go! A fine example of why artists cannot make art in a vacuum and why constructive criticism is vital for any creative.
And as always I find something I don't like about the image right after posting it.
