And then we get to the end. You face your fears, confront Omori, save Basil, and forgive yourself. It's a rollercoaster of emotions and ends in the best way possible. You play a duet, remember your friends, and confess about what happened to Mari.
The One Last Day segment is by far my favorite part of the game. All of your friends are back together and you get to explore to your heart's content. The pet rock minigame is very fun and collecting all the seashells and CDs made me lose track of time.
The story punched me in the gut more than once and made me feels sad for the first time in a while. The friends drifting apart aspect hit close to home and I always felt bad for basil even when we learned what he did.
IF you wanted to compare it to another game you could probably draw some parallels between it and Doki Doki because of its deceiving appearance. It may look like cute wholesome fun times with the gang but once you wake up everything changes.
Omori: My Thoughts (Massive spoiler warning and disturbing images ahead)
Go show some love to @chimeramanticor for making this awesome commission for me. They just made a dating sim and deserve a million times more recognition than they get.
