One of the reasons to think #WumpaLeague is the title of the game is how we first learned about it through a banner.
In the same way that CTR is established as an event with banners and a TV show, Wumpa League would be another competition from which the title is derived from.
Out of all the awesome designs from Crash 4, Coco is my 2nd favorite! I really like how they made her look as goofy as Crash while staying adorable.
It makes me want to see more diversity in terms of designs for female characters, old or new, the Nitro Squad really needs it imo.
Something I've noticed about the original On the Run designs: Crash and Dingodile are based more on Nicholas Kole's artwork than the in-game models (orange-ish ears and no vest) but still are their own thing.
So it's possible Spyro is King's own take on Reignited (Kole)?
Judging by the character sheet they come in different designs, but this graffiti looks like an eldery wumpa, makes you think what will be their origin 🤔
@Canadianguyehh It's the tentacled marauder enemy from Crash 4.
Whether they liked the design so much to make it a full character or it's a stage enemy, we'll see.
I have a feeling that the cropped artwork is similar to this one from the artbook in a way that includes more than playable chars
@Canadianguyehh I have to admit that I've not played the Spyro trilogy yet, but I'm curious to see if they are using Kole's takes on Cynder and female elder dragons for Spyro 4, considering he was still under contract by late 2020 and people loved them
@guy_firefly @YinyangGio14 Wacky and Badass is the reason why it would be such a 90's character today,not even Sonic is like that.
Something I love about the new design is its versatility to look charming or serious, like Mario in his games or he in Smash. Look this renders
@FierySeraph99 @Hamcakes2 @Asaylum117 THERE is were you sound biased. Saying "animation can't save simple designs" is contradictory to the examples above. In terms of seasons, every real problem in the Reboot is fixed in latter seasons, and alien designs are more akin the OS than the botched designs in UAF or OV
@eCockpit89 It would instantly tell it's Crash, and he does not need an invitation. A trailer like this with small signs would be perfect!
