Forced myself to do a warmup doodle today so I drew an old Pokemon OC. This is River, a former K-9 with the International Police who had to retire due to old age and then struggled to find her place in life. She is very Welsh.

Anyone ever notice how similar Kagome's outfit from when she FIRST returned to the Sengoku Era is to the one she wore the LAST time she returned? I thought they were the same on my recent re-read and got excited until I double-checked. 😭 The anime made it even closer!

These are literally so old I drew them in MS Paint with a mouse, LOL. Really amazed they're still in my art folder. Those were the days... When I was watching/reading "Ginga Nagareboshi Gin" in my edgy weeb phase so I was on a Japanese Akita drawing spree.

The frog prince arc is spring. Again easy thanks to color pages, and Kagome finally being able to swim.

@Nukawin That's actually really encouraging to hear. I am getting better but I struggle a lot to make anything halfway decent, still.

The 1st pic is my first "real" attempt at one and it looks a bit derpy, haha. Especially before I colored it. The 2nd is my most recent and stylized one.

@kochomaii I'm ngl I don't really like the traditional miko/priestess hairstyle on her, and I don't really think she'd wear it like that even if she is more at peace with the whole Kikyou thing. I still headcanon her wearing this kind of ponytail. It's cute af on her.
