I feel Shiba as a villain is more told about than shown. I certainly wanted to put that bastard in his place but...all these dumps about the person he used to be felt so...empty because we just don't get to see nor comprehend that side to him everyone else talks about...

In fact the OVA of unicorn heavily dials back some of the nastier stuff the novel covered. I won't get into all of them but let's just say Loni in the novel/manga and anime are fundamentally different people...And I don't even wanna touch Marida's chapters...

And thats not even getting into how godly broken and OP Rustal is. I don't mind Tekkadan meeting their match and losing but it just felt like we were subjecting them to defeat after defeat based on OOPS! YOU WERE OFF BY A HAIR GO DIE!
