@x_zenz_x Sure, thanks! I'm Katrin, a transfemme artist/illustrator with a love for the art of antiquity and the middle ages!
For extra relevancy, all of these feature trans figures!
For starting out as "let's see if I can get CSP working properly with my new tablet" I'm pretty happy with how all these turned out. Which is your favourite?
I have come to accept that my true calling in life is drawing silly monster bat faces on shields
Thought it might be interesting to put together some progress pics for my latest piece
@lunwil Hiya, thanks for the share and fun question. I relate to a lot in life through my interests and fascinations, which are usually stories, myth, or history, and I think that my art being part of that is something that makes it feel very "me".
I need to practice this style more, so I redrew this character: Khemara Serpent-Eye, Priestess of the Shaker Goddess Maran Gor. She's inspired by the Gallae of Anatolia and similar ancient priesthoods throughout the near east.
@holyempresskira @SuperGalaxyFox1 Ooh, thank you, I like themed shares like this!
Tried to find ones that are relevant, so here we have:
-Argimpasa, Scythian Goddess of Love, War, and Magic
-Duchess Tain Hu winning a duel for her future lover
-My arthurian knight dnd character in love with the Lady of the Lake
@Retro_Flare0 Oooh Im a bit late but I wanna try this! This here's Khemara Serpent-Eye, a priestess of the Shaker-Goddess Maran Gor. She's heavily inspired by the transgender priesthoods of the ancient near east.
