Obviously I’m influenced by more than these four, from the oil painting masters I studied to my art friends to dozens of comic artists (I owe Mack and Sienkiewicz especially a huge debt), but it’s been very helpful for me to find a smaller group that evokes the things I want to.

Sadly most of my work over the last month or so has been stuff I can’t post publicly yet, but here’s some of my favorite older pieces:

@SpacyLuna I mean he’s gonna have a larger container of it anyway, but also since presumably it’s space-coffee (not imported from Earth) or some equivalent to coffee, it might have a different caffeine content (or whatever is acting as a stimulant for this beverage)
