Grateful for more #graphicnovels for readers who are beginning their reading journey. Here are a few to check out and even more in the post! https://t.co/vZQ9tPtEIs
An important and necessary book about childhood depression. Definitely one to have for your #SEL collections.
Patches the dog learns the reward of having patience when his moms bring home a new baby. It’s the sweetest story and I love that it’s told in Patches’ voice!
This book pulled on my heartstrings big time! Young readers will love meeting Hat the cat and his dear owner. It’s a beautiful story that is timeless in all of its feelings! 5/5
This is a MUST have for your read aloud collection! You’ll be dancing, your students will be sashaying! And who knew an ear worm is ABSOLUTELY a thing! 4/
I am so grateful for our state award lists. Because of the @bluestemaward I was introduced to this one. It’s full of action and friendship. It takes place at a “boarding school” which I would have loved as a young reader! Find this one for your readers, they’ll be glad!
This was one of my first Spring Break reads and it took me a few days to put my feelings of it into words. It’s such a special book bc these words come right from the author’s heart. Olive’s tenacity and beliefs in wishes and friendship captured my heart. Definite preorder!!
I’ve written before about our students’ love for the HiLo graphic novels this year. Here’s one I’ll be adding to their pile!
The final post in my Women’s History Month series went up this week. Three weeks of celebrating picture book biographies about mighty women. I hope you’ve added some to your collection. The final post has a link to all of them! https://t.co/MzKUr6ULFR
