Do I gotta choke somebody to remind them of Kirby's anime?
(Also I don't want to toot my own horn, but I remember someone comparing my Captain N pitch animatic to iseaki anime. Liked that comparison a lot.) https://t.co/T5dV9pRaRE
#KnoxRobbinsArt It's #Supergirl, rounder but still the same super-strong cousin of Krypton! Like Wonder Woman I finished last year, I've had the rough idea and dev work for Supes for years before I eventually got around to finishing it this year.
Back in 2018, I commissioned @DavidBaronArt to draw up new artwork of Krakkevin for me as part of a potential pitch plan. Three years passed and I haven't returned to flesh out these characters further but I will some day. The best I can do is show Dave's great artwork for now.
#KnoxSketch First 4-page set for the year! All sketches done during last year, mostly Nightmare City stuff.
#KnoxSketch Meet Kate. She's 16 years old, she lives in New York and a so-called "manrat" as called by pest controls. Raised as part of a human family since a baby, she herself will discover where she comes from.
(Sketched last Wednesday but been developing her since January)
#KnoxSketch Did a bunch of suggestive sketches for potential artwork last night and for this night's stream.
I thought of this idea recently, dorm roommates in a magic institution. A human learning the craft and an imp who has plenty of tricks herself, both lowkey losers.
@DynamoSuperX (No, it’s not the one from Neversoft and Toys for Bob. The Konami one.)
#KnoxRobbinsArt Happy 35th anniversary to #TheLegendofZelda! Wanted to a piece in the style of The Wind Waker for years until I thought of a Link & Zelda dynamic that thus far the series hasn't done yet and felt like illustrating. #Zelda35
(... Nintendo Direct is tomorrow?!?)
So I'm kinda torn right now as a result from tonight's stream. I feel like I'm stagnant on this Supergirl piece. This is the second time I restarted it too, first was years ago. Should I just start over from scratch or keep going with what I currently have?
(Poll in thread)
#KnoxRobbinsArt It was the mid-90's when Erika first saw The Wasp! Erika's mind exploded.
(Pitch development slowed to a crawl during COVID, will get back to them soon. Wanted to at least do some Wasp art and go full 90's with it too.)
