tempted to open up cheapo chibi commissions in an attempt to imitate the art for let's go pikachu and evee...
i mentioned that custom robo jumpstarted my loose love of superrobots. AC4 and ACFA solidified it. Something about ridiculously huge robots jetboost-iceskating around with comically oversized rifles, bazookas and laser swords just hits different.
on a much simpler note. splat tim. he do it.
splat tim 2. He do it again!
In a curveball for my tabletop interests, we got a funny little game that i have yet to actually play called ryuutama. Normally I wouldn't even put something i've barely interacted with in something like this but the idea of ''Hayao Miyazaki's Oregon Trail'' is rad.
For the manga Department, I present thee Ballroom e Youkoso. There was a brief stint where i was super into reading manga's that revolved around ballroom dancing for some reason and this one has stayed on my ''check whenever a new chapter us up always'' list.
This one's a bit of a 2 for one but I really like GO, despite not really ever playing it in a formal setting or even really knowing how the scoring system works properly. This was mostly because of hikaru no go being on toonami and getting me super hooked on it.
Next up is Custom Robo, a neat little arena battler mech game for the Gamecube that helped to kickstart an interest in super robots and things adjacent to them. Game is hoakey as all hell but has such a neat battle system, soundtrack and story.
