It even helped me with my stylistic work. These are the same characters, with a similar pose. One is from the same time/year as the left image above, the other is from this year.

I feel compelled to give an example, so here's a good one. This is a digital painting I did pre: learning what I was doing with real figures and faces and painting techniques, and here's one that I just finished.
