@ComCodyCC2224 No..Not anymore than I’d watch one that featured either of 2 favorite EU characters.
Why? Because the continuity has been so utterly changed that they simply couldn’t be anything more than ‘in-name-only’ retcons. The continuity simply doesn’t line up to what made them special.
@ComCodyCC2224 @MentorSkywalker @MasterJediMara @ThaMandalorian @TIESuperior @TheLucasVerse The Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker arc is one of the absolute best in the EU. And their son, Ben, was rapidly becoming one of the more interesting characters they ever created.
@TheFirstOkiro My thoughts: Finn always was a Jedi, in the EU - his name was Kyle Katarn. A stormtrooper that defected to rebellion after witnessing the empire’s brutality, he stole Death Star plans, foiled dark trooper program, & became respected Jedi. Boyega would’ve done the role proud.
@HamillHimself @MrPeytonReed I remember when he was still a symbol of hope. Still enjoy experiencing it every time.
@FandomMenaceGrl @JohnBoyega If you want an idea of how much of a missed opportunity Finn was, look no further than Kyle Katarn. Boyega could’ve done the role proud.
KennedyFilm had everything handed to them on a silver platter. So, of course, they fundamentally retconned it into unrecognizable 💩.
