Not really improvement so much as letting myself play with my art again after a long time just doing illustrative art for zines and merch. This year has been so busy that I haven't had time for much drawing— I like both styles, and I do different things with each of them. https://t.co/3Y01XyaSFB
I'll be at Flame Con speaking on a panel w/ a bunch of cool people on Saturday at 2 PM in the Workshop Room about life after art school and tips for developing your career in different ways! I'll also be walking around, so if you're tabling, give me a shout so I can say hello! :)
I always liked coming up with ideas, even if I didn't have the skills to draw them well yet. If I had stopped drawing in high school, I would have missed out on making a lot of fun stuff and missed my chance to meet some of my best friends.
I was slow to improve compared to my friends and peers who drew a lot! Some of my old awkward art from high school, college, and even grad school. There's no age where you become too old to improve through practice and study. :) https://t.co/WXC9MBGbFz
It's my birthday! A lot of things have changed in my life this year, and I've been incredibly busy, but I'm glad to get to spend another year making little things on this old planet.
Hello! Little news update that I'm now the graphic novels Editorial Assistant at ABRAMS Books! That's all!
