A merchants portrait loosely based on the hanseatic league. Felt really inspired by illustrator Shawn Harris' (https://t.co/bccdJozbPq) cover of "The Monk of Mokha" (love the added blue colour in the British eddition) as well as the illustrations by Peter Donnelly @donnellypa .

So we have those GIANT 5 L preserving jars at the organic grocery store I work for. And someone suggested I could plant it. Alas, my green thumb is not up to this task yet. A painting is so much easier to look after. 😋
