Had an idea to design some Smash Bros Spirit Battles, and I figured I'd start with some Shantae characters. The reasons for all of them are pretty simple. I couldn't think of a perfect match for Mimic, but I think what I got works. More to come.

26 - Father Balder
I learned a lot about Bayonetta lore making this call. It was either him or Rodin, and I decided on Balder. His past self could work, but I think his Bayo 1 incarnation would be better.

23 - Rex
I actually looked into Xenoblade lore to figure out just what the heck Pyra and Mythra were. I had no idea
I dont care about Xenoblade, but Rex with his two gal pals alternating support to change his moves would be cool.
Also, I think Mythra's Smash redesign looks better

22 - ASTAROTH
Astaroth appeared in Pac-Man Fever, a Mario Party rip off, so fair game :)

Jokes aside, there was nobody in the Pac-Man franchise I wanted. Ms Pac-Man shouldn't be her own fighter, or even an echo. If she's represented it would be a skin, like Alph. Pac isnt voiced

21 - Glass Joe
He's like Little Mac, just with no armor.

20 - Wii Fit Pet
The fuck was I supposed to pick here? I don't know!

19 - Dr. Wily
I'm still on the fence about this one. I don't play Mega Man, but it has a lot of cool characters. Zero or Sigma would be my other picks, but I feel like Wily would bring the most variety to the table.

12 - Tiki
I guess this would technically make 4 Awakening reps, but it was a good game, so I don't care.
She is one of the few characters to be in multiple installments, and her dragon powers are a lot more interesting than Corrin's.
