Hi, I'm Kristina, illustrator from Hamburg, Germany. I'd like to draw more history themed illustrations for educational/nonfiction purposes, for publishers & museums. #PortfolioDay

"Marbling"
Speedpaint (3 hrs) after Vigée Le Brun, in Photoshop
Goal: to do more small-ish paintings like these between work
new mermaid painting! ❤ A personal art, just for fun.
Tools: Photoshop and Wacom Intuos, as usual.
(I've actually got an XP-Pen screen tablet now, but I keep going back to the old Intuos because it feels so much more ergonomical and efficient 😅)
@artbysamwhite That's real badass work you've got there Sam! 👍🤩
Some of my personal faves from 2020:
@HolBolDoTweet Wishing you all a healthy, safe, creative and better 2021 💜
@JuliaMetzgerArt Hi! :D
Right now I just hope to be able to do what I'm doing for as long as possible, but a tentative maybe-someday dream of mine is to become a fully independent artist some day (only personal work, little or no client work) <3
@itsartperson How did I miss this? XD These are probably my best 2 of 2020
@Cyellolemon Hi, I'm Kristina, freelance illustrator from Hamburg, Germany, and I love to draw historical subjects and elegant ladies! Thank you for this artshare 🥰
This just to show a bit of my everyday life and the realities of being an illustrator. There's so much we don't show on social media.
(last example, a sci-fi themed adventure in a spaceship)
(yes, SketchUp is saving my ass on every single of those books!)
And here you are an agent in 1980s Europe, and your task is to defeat a Bond villain!
And that's not all: I also drew for selfpublishers and museums this year, a lot of which will be unpublished for some time still, and I can't show it yet.
