@lgbtanime No but like what blows my mind (negative sense) is how their old slogan was something like “Tech Otakus Can Save the World” and the game has anime aesthetics but when you look at anime….even with colorism and orientalism in play….

Cursed-er image: Same, but with KAEYA AND BC OF HOW HE DRESSES, ONLY HIS FACE AND COLLARBONE ARE TAN

@midnighabsinthe @RiddleRoseSama @zuoranirI @oleeck1505 @genshinBLANK Whenever he appears alongside paler characters like Amber and Collei, he’s noticeably darker. His overall skintone appears similar to that of Xinyan.

For the wielder, I ended up taking a lot of inspiration from Genshin’s Xinyan— a passionate rocker who’s got a heart of gold but will also definitely stay true to herself even if she has to go against the grain.

They don’t look a lot alike but I noticed that Lamy has blue hair and gold eyes while Ame bas gold hair and blue eyes. Interesting…..(likely means absolutely nothing LOL)

Not really a spoiler—

One thing I love about Ice Queendom so far is it really leans into giving Weiss a spellsword fighting style. It really plays up the magical nature of her techniques. (Plus she gets ranged attacks from the beginning— I forget if she had any in V1.)
