So if we're going to talk Bendis on #JusticeLeague, then we address the elephant in the room. Putting him on the *the* premier ensemble DC book is cranked up my expectations to 11 as someone who could not get enough of his #Avengers titles.

1st issue? Expectations exceeded.

#Giga 1 by Alex Paknadel & John Le is high concept in the way that could only be meant for a mech story. Le's art gives the book an air of optimism in a world that Paknadel clearly doesn't want you to let your guard down in. Out by @thevaultcomics Oct. 28th. Read it.

It is my hope and dream that Ewing brings back some of that Ultimates energy to this title.

Re-reading Stokoe's Godzilla in Hell series. I have a mighty urge to try to track down some of the original pages from this series because there wasn't a single wasted panel in it and they're all fucking breathtaking.

Fraction and The Dodsons mega team-up book #Adventureman feels lovingly thought out with a passion for the era of Doc Savage and pulp heroes of the time rather than an opulent indie title flex that could easily have been a Big 2 hype project. Hoping for longevity with this book.
