Dio currently has this mask (Im not 100% sure Im keeping it tho).

It was designed with a specific purpose: when he transforms, it changes form and what I like to call his 'eye of Azem' opens. It's lodged between shoulders and wings. (And it's a real eye this time)

If you've heard of kintsugi/kintsukuroi, his 'veins' glow like gold, inspired by that, and yes you can see the blood flowing if you're close enough.
His head is on fire (comes out of his nostrils) but he can control it at will, and will do so if he's approaching someone.
