I decided to go back to the muscular, bodyguard version of Impa since this Zelda seems to be more gentle. Her design is a sort of marraige between her OoT look and the Shiekah designs that came in later games. #thelegendofzelda
I said his Magic words (that he created himself) and Tingle showed up with his good friend Beedle. It's hard to improve on either of their designs, but I liked the Beedle in Wind Waker where he is a bit more destitute and it seems to fit this world. #TheLegendofZelda
The Kokiri craftswoman has been a dear friend of the the Deku Tree for a very long time. Using its wood in tandem with his magic, she carves new forest spirits known as Koroks to help protect him. #thelegendofzelda
And we finally have our Wizard King. This reincarnation of Ganondorf is the leader of a nomadic tribe of barbarians, low lifes, and pirates. He is also a deeply devoted mystic and practices dark, ancient magics.
Link is also updated a bit again and the hat is out for now.
The Princess of Hyrule joins us. Her outfit is inspired by old Nordic wear, and less decorative and golden than we are used to. She's a bit more ready for travel.
The Goron's build is based on heavier power lifters. The legs were made a bit more beefy than any other interpretation to hold up all that weight, and the rocks on his back are more like a turtle's shell.
For the Zora, I wanted to play off the Olympic swimmer's body type, wide shoulders and extremely long arms. I also wanted to bring back some elements of the OoT Zora designs, and also the gills that the River Zora have.
I have always wanted to try redesigning Link in my own style. I think it ends up being somewhere between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. It would be loads of fun to do more like this! #LegendOfZelda
