Work big to small, general to specific. Values first.

Start with big square brush and block in shapes, switching between additive and subtractive brush strokes. Carve in and out. Then, halve the brush size and do the same. Then halve once more. In 25-30 minutes (or less), you’re most of the way there. Coast to final. #illustration

Here is a small corner of something really fun I got to draw this week for Adobe. The coloring was done with the Cézanne brush in #AdobeFresco.
